Merche Romero

Merche Romero is a model and television presenter in Portugal.  Merche Romero is Spanish and Portuguese, born in Andorra, which is a little country in southwestern Europe that is bordered by both France and Spain.  In this article I will discuss Merche Romero and her life as well as how she rose to fame and fortune. 

Growing Up In Andorra

Andorra is a small country that is located close to the Pyrenees mountains. This small principal country is bordered by both France and Spain.  It is  one of the smallest nations in Europe, with just under a hundred thousand citizens.  The official language of Andorra is Catalan and many people will also find French, Spanish and Portuguese are spoken there as well. 

Merche Romero grew up in a loving home where her and her family worked and lived comfortably.  Andorra is a small country but extremely prosperous due to high levels of tourism.  Merche Romero enjoyed growing up in Andorra and all of the fun festivals and the amazing Catalan culture.  Catalan has its own specific culture that is full of amazing folk dances, folk music and much more.  However, no matter how amazing Andorra was, Merche Romero knew that she was made for bigger things.  She knew that she could shine and was made for the spotlight with her stunning good looks and vivacious personality. 

Rise To Fame

Many wonder how Merche Romero has become so famous and there is one major reasons that can be pinpointed for her stardom.  It is no secret that Merche Romero gained her popularity and fame though her boyfriend Cristiano Ronaldo.  Cristiano Ronaldo was playing for Manchester United when him and Merche Romero first started dating. He is now currently playing with Real Madrid.  Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest paid soccer player in the world with a one hundred and thirty two million dollar transfer deal that went down when he came to play for Real Madrid not to mention the eleven million a year that he brings in for the next six years of his contract.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Merche Romero began dating sometime back but unfortunately most people are unclear of exactly when. The relationship was kept extremely quite, although there were pictures of the couple caught out together during holidays and other events as well.  What is interesting about the relationship is that every time Cristiano was ever asked about his relationship with Merche he would refuse to discuss it.  Cristiano never would officially confirm or deny that the two of them were seeing each other, which just continuously made most people in the public become much more curious about the couples relationship.  Merche was exactly the opposite of Cristiano, she had no problem letting people know that the two of them were a couple and quite happy as well.  She loved telling everyone that Cristiano was her boyfriend and being in the spotlight.  Some people wondered if Cristiano was more hush, hush about the relationship due to Merche's age, she was nine years his senior.  Finally in September of 2006 Cristiano would finally confirm his relationship with Merche to simply tell the television show that he and Merche were no longer seeing one another. 

Rumors

Merche Romero may be popular in Portugual where she models and is a television personality but everywhere else throughout Europe, people will find the story is not the same.  People either love or hate Merche Romero.  She has been called a dinosaur, cradle robber, ugly, fake and much worse by both men and woman.  Many people had a big issue with Merche and Cristiano dating due to the huge age difference and to the fact that many people felt that she was simply with Cristiano due to his fame and fortune.  It is true that Merche Romero was nothing until she began dating Cristiano back in 2006 and then she used everything she could along with many interviews and pictures of them out to help her boost her modeling and television career.  Most magazines and other celebrity sites would only talk to her if she would discuss her boyfriend Cristiano. 

Merche has also been known to be one of the most unprofessional models and television personalities to work with. Many will not work with her due to her being both unprofessional and rude. 

Present Day

Recently reports have came out discussing how Merche Romero is five months pregnant. This will be Merche's first child.  Merche and her boyfriend To Pereira will become parents within the next four months.  She has spoken excitedly about how she has always wanted to be a mother and is feeling extremely happy and lucky to be having a new baby very soon. 

Even though the couple, Merche and To Pereira did have a time when they had separated for a little bit, the couple have come back together, stating that they missed one another and love one another.
